MCC (A) MULTI CREW Coop. Integrated Training

Purpose of the course

The objective of MCC Training is to raise the consciousness of working as a member of a team. This training includes techniques to establish effective and clear communication. Practices are made to determine how the pilots will communicate each other under different flight scenarios.

MCC training consists of two sections which are theoretical ground training and simulator practice.

Thanks to MCC training in which Standard operation procedures can be taught by exemplification, pilots learn how to control the workload distribution at the time of PF (Pilot Flying) and PNF (Pilot Not Flying) / PM (Pilot Monitoring) duties.

The objective of MCC training is to ensure the crews support each other under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions, at the time of decision making, communication, task distribution, Checklist use, common administration, team work and all phases of flight.

The primary emphasis of MCC training is to focus on and improve non-technical crew working skills. Besides, the objective of this training to create a team spirit rather than personal achievements and to ensure coordination of the team members.

Additionally, MCC training should provide the opportunities to implement the skills required for effective team leadership and membership. And this requires studies involving the team member students with PF and PNF roles.

In order to ensure crew efficiency; the students are required to be familiar with their own leadership qualifications, effective team work techniques and bilateral relations interface. The students are also required to be aware that their behaviours under normal conditions may negatively affect the team work under stressful and heavy work conditions.
1.MCC training requirements are specified in FCL.725, it gives guiding titles for exercises that can be used in training.
2.The exercises should be completed in a simulated commercial air transport environment.
